Terri Friedman

Between 1993 and 1986, Terri Friedman after receiving her B.A with Honors from Brown University in Providence, RI, and earning her MFA at Claremont Graduate School in Claremont, CA, she launched her career in Los Angeles. Friedman’s work explores issues of gender, the mind and body, and more recently, neuroplasticity and resilience. Her work has traversed the landscape of paint, kinetic sculpture, writing, collaboration, and fiber. She is currently an Associate Professor at the California College of the Arts, and her most recent solo exhibitions include CUE Art Foundation in New York, NY and Hello Uncertainty, Guerrero Gallery, San Francisco, CA in 2019.
